France bans 'excessively thin' models

At last - there has been a constructive move towards encouraging a more healthy body image within the fashion industry with France banning the use of 'excessively thin' fashion models. This move will hopefully stop the use of underweight (predominately) female models on the runway and in major advertising campaigns - and help prevent eating disorders, notably anorexia - which are subliminally promoted by this culture of thin.
