First Lady Style wins at Listowel Races
Margaret Hynes-Cahill (from Ardfert, Kerry), wearing a powder blue outfit inspired by American First Ladies Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Melania Trump, won the Best Dressed Lady title at the Listowel Races June Bank Holiday Meeting on Sunday 4th of June. Margaret who is a Garda and also models with the Holman Lee Agency, purchased her look from Jasmine Boutique in Tralee. Judged by Aisling O’Loughlin, former Xpose presenter and founder and Editor of Exquisite.ie and fashion blogger by Orlagh Winters, there was a total Best Dressed prize fund of €5,000, generously sponsored by the businesses and publicans of Listowel town. www.listowelraces.ie #listowelraces
First runner in the Best Dressed Lady category was Shin Hayes from Cork in a cherry fitted jumpsuit with matching headpiece by Marc Millinery and second runner up was Cathy Dillon from Athenry wearing a very eye catching colour block ensemble with headpiece by Caitriona King. The winner of the ‘Classy Lady’ was Mary Kelliher from Killorglin, who wore a headpiece by Carol Kennelly and outfit by MacBees Killarney and the ‘Best Accessory’ title went to Lisa Martin from Tralee for her beautiful bespoke neckpiece by designer Rebekah Wall.
The June Bank Holiday Ladies Day was organised by Eilish Stack and all the prizes were sponsored by the business people of Listowel town.
The June Meeting is the first of two race meetings at the scenic Listowel Race Course, with the second 7 day Harvest Racing Festival meeting on from Sunday 10th to Saturday 16th of September 2017. The McElligotts Honda Ladies Day is on Friday 15th of September and full details and judges will be announced shortly.
