Put a Spring into your Step!

On RTE Today I showed 6 fashionable and functional trainers and shoes from Ara Shoes all styled with 6 beautiful new season looks from Hannons of Castleisland.

Last week on RTE Today I showed 6 new SPRING / SUMMER looks from Ara Shoes including the much talked about Ara Fusion 4 trainers. All of the looks were styled with separates and occasion wear from Hannons of Castleisland (who are celebrating 80 years in business this Summer!).

This is the 3rd time I have showcased Ara shoes on RTE Today and we always get a wonderful response, particularly from those who need comfortable shoes for work and leisure (and going out!) and also those with foot problems - or outsized feet! Some of the Ara Styles are available up to size 9 and all come in wide fittings.

Unless you have being living under a rock - you will know that Trainers are HUGE fashion news again this season. However, although we all welcome the comfort and wearability of trainers - sometimes it can be difficult to know how to style trainers with workwear and for dressing up! So on RTE Today we tackled this style dilemma by pairing 4 trainers, a sandal and block court from Ara Shoes with a selection of new season separates and occasion wear all available from Hannons of Castleisland in Kerry (and the good news is they carry labels from size 6 to 26).

Below are all the photographs from the show (click right to move along the gallery). As always, please contact me directly if you have any questions by sending me a DM on Instagram or Facebook @orladiffily . Special thanks to Fiona from Ara and Jill from Hannons for coming along to RTE on the day and to our gorgeous Upfront Models Maeve, Aisling and Jen.

Ara Shoes are available now from all good independent shoe boutiques nationwide. All the clothes featured are available from Hannons of Castleisland (Ivy Lane at Hannons) in Kerry. Find them on Facebook and Instagram.

There is lots of excitement around the new ARA Fusion4 – as it heralds a New Dimension of Comfort for the wearer. I am lucky enough to own a pair of these new Ara Trainers and I have to say they are super comfortable to wear, support my foot (long days at shoots and shows!) and are very stylish too.

So below is the science bit . . .

The New ara Fusion4 is a unique combination of the HiFlex upper and the Dynergy sole. The 4 in the name stands for the ways in which the foot individually finds its fit: upwards, to the side, on the diagonal, and downwards.

The newly developed HiFlex upper is a multi-zone knitted upper whose dynamically flexible mode of operation is designed for the anatomy of the foot, stretching at all the right places and ensuring stability at the same time.

The Dynergy sole is equipped with a special lamellar structure on the zones of the sole of the foot. It takes the shape of the whole foot perfectly and varies in the way that it yields to heavy steps in the forefoot and heel. When pressure is removed, the lamella return to their previous shape, automatically supporting the foot during roll-off movements.
